ISO 9001:2008 Certification
On January 21, 2011, Sevatec, Inc. was successfully certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) at its 9001:2008 quality management system standard. This standard provides guidance on how to implement a management system related to the quality of work provided by an organization. To be ISO 9001: 2008-certified, a firm must demonstrate its ability to set quality objectives, develop procedures to ensure the achievement of those objectives, and gear those objectives toward ensuring that a company meets and exceeds customer expectations.
ISO 9001:2008 is aimed at helping Sevatec organize our activities based on continual quality management improvement. By analyzing business practices and developing common processes and documentation associated with this standard, our firm is better able to systematically identify and eliminate the cause of customer dissatisfaction and foster an environment of business process improvement. Our employees can better support our organizational objectives, and our firm's management can ensure that everyone is focused on achieving the same goals and level of service.
Sevatec's strategic investment in ISO 9001:2008 is based on our corporate commitment to quality and continuous process improvement. By practicing disciplined, repeatable quality management processes, our firm will sustain our ability to deliver on-time, on-budget, high quality deliverables to our clients and partners, who will benefit from the provided efficiency, transparency, reliability, and reduced operating costs.
