Vice President, Human Resources

Sevatec recognizes that our employees are our most valued asset of the corporation. Therefore, Ms. Joan Moret was appointed to the Senior Management Team and serves as Sevatec's Vice President of Human Resources. In this position, Ms. Moret provides strategic direction for employee relations, recruiting, community outreach, work/life balance programs, compensation, benefits, performance management, and training and development. Since joining Sevatec, Ms. Moret has designed and implemented several programs to enhance the employee experience and to further the spirit of "Seva."

Prior to joining Sevatec, Ms. Moret was the Director of Human Resources and Administration for SiloSmashers Inc., a management and technology consulting firm in Fairfax, VA. During her tenure, she had responsibility for all aspects of human resources and administration. Throughout her seven years with SiloSmashers, Ms. Moret played a vital role during a time of dramatic corporate growth. Ms. Moret was recognized as SiloSmashers' "Most Valuable Player." Ms. Moret also spent time with The Orkand Corporation, KRA Corporation, and the International Dairy Foods Association.

Ms. Moret is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
