As mentioned throughout this website, "Seva" means commitment to serving others. A key element of Sevatec's service culture is our proactive participation in community service. Sevatec recognizes that it is our responsibility as a good corporate citizen to help enrich our surrounding communities of residence and business. We encourage our employees to become involved in their communities, lending their voluntary support to programs that positively impact the quality of life to those within these communities.

Charitable Donations – Each month we sponsor "Blue Jeans Friday." This program allows our employees to select a different charity to sponsor each month. For a small donation each staff member can help improve the quality of life for others while wearing their favorite pair of jeans to work. In addition, we make corporate donations as well. A few charities that we have sponsored are: Kiva, Fidos for Freedom, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Community Involvement Program – Each quarter, our employees get out into the community and work with local charities to help those in our community. We work side by side, helping to prepare meals, creating care packages for distribution, and stocking food pantries. A few of the charities we work with are: So Others Might Eat (SOME), Bread for the City, and DC Central Kitchen.
