CPIC Specialist - Washington, DC
Position Title: CPIC Specialist - Washington D.C.
The successful individual will be responsible for the development of IT portfolio management processes and Enterprise Architecture collaboration. Duties will include supporting the implementation of IT portfolio management processes; integration of CPIC processes and procedures with Enterprise Architecture (EA) development. Other duties may include system life cycle analysis, performance goals and measures, earned value management, financial analysis. The candidate should have a working knowledge of the CPIC process in order to help facilitate efforts to integrate both EA and CPIC. The analyst should posses a strong background in the BPR, Solution Architecture, and best practices in order to effectively manage this major transformation.
Requirements:
- Five to seven years of experience with capital planning investment control (CPIC) and IT portfolio management in a federal environment
- Five to seven years of experience with economic analysis, cost analysis, revenue analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and planning
- ITIM Process Maturity, CPIC, Strategic Planning, Portfolio Management and/or Governance
- Enterprise Architecture experience
- Understand the FEA Performance Reference Model
- EA/CPIC Alignment and Integration
- EA Analysis (Alternative, Impact, Gap, Alignment, etc.)
- EA Support and advisory role while developing Exhibit 300s for the bureau
- Business Process Reengineering experience or/or understanding
- B.S in Computer Science, engineering, or related technical discipline is a minimum
- Background should be coupled with portfolio management process and OMB EA Assessment Framework experience
- Must have experience in policy planning and strong working knowledge and experience with all financial functions including Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Must have Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively (oral and written)
- PMI Certification is an asset
- Candidates should have a "verifiable" track record of meeting project deadlines, delivering high-quality consulting services, thinking outside of the box, building client relationships and developing follow-on and new business
- U.S. Citizenship is required
