Minimum Qualifications for Database Administrator:

• Substantial experience working as a database administrator supporting UNIX-based databases (ex. Informix, DB2, Oracle, etc.).
• Expert in developing, modifying, testing, and debugging programs using a UNIX-based RDBMS. Experience must include an excellent understanding and use of an ANSI Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Recent substantial experience with UNIX specifically Sun's Solaris operating system.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with Federal, State and Contractor staff, and must be able to develop and present comprehensive technical presentations.
• Familiar with operating in a MS-Windows based LAN environment.
