Position Title: Human Capital Consultant
In this role, the incumbent will assist our client in an enterprise-wide strategic workforce planning and human capital development efforts as part of a larger organizational strategy to build an information technology organizational capable of world-class delivery services. In this role, the incumbent’s responsibilities include the knowledge, skills, abilities, and attributes to effectively:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of a sound, sustainable governance structure
- Facilitate communication with and outreach to stakeholders on human capital management
- Analyze issues, policies, and procedures to provide strategic recommendations
- Perform gap analyses, need assessments, business case evaluation, and special studies
- Design, develop, and manage survey process and corresponding analysis and reporting
- Help establish a program management office
- Support preparations and planning for large-scale skills assessment and competency modeling
- Assume leadership responsibilities on progressively more challenging projects
- Offer innovative solutions, creative ideas, and new approaches
- Build expertise in workforce planning and human capital management
- Gain domain insight into government client organizational requirements
The incumbent is expected to make a significant contribution to the client by focusing on improving its performance and strengthening its organizational capability to enhance human capital management and satisfy its stakeholder’s expectations.
Applicant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in social sciences preferred
- Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred
- A minimum 8 years experience with at least 3 years experience in management consulting
- Interviewing skills
- Experience interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data through analysis and reporting
- Strategic planning and organization design skills
- Program management skills
- Prior Federal contracting experience
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
- Excellent active listening skills
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills
- Strong analytic and decision-making abilities
- Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Experience with large-scale organizational change effort
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Workforce and Acquisition Management
