Position Title: Principal Quality Analyst
Position Description: Responsible for development of project Software Quality Assurance Plan and the implementation of procedures that conforms to the requirements of client. Responsible for verifying that each functional component of the software project follows a defined process which is in conformance with client. Report findings to project staff, line management of the organization, and the customer, as appropriate. Provides an independent assessment of how the project's software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process. Lead and mentor junior quality assurance analyst. Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation. Responsible for the maintenance of Quality Center installation, updates as well as creating and updating QTP scripting.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor of Science – Computer Science, Information Technology.
Minimum Experience Required: 15 Years
- Minimum of fifteen years experience in Information Technology.
- Minimum of ten years hands-on experience developing and implementing quality assurance processes/procedures
- Minimum five years experience in a leadership role
- Experience executing test procedures
Minimum Skills Required:
Knowledgeable and has an understanding of the following:
- Software testing
- Project planning
- Test Director
- LoadRunner
- CMMI Level 3 practices

- Good knowledge of version control management processes.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, MS Project, Visio, and Adobe products.
- Strong verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills to document and communicate findings, escalate critical observations, and interact with colleagues, management, and external entities.
- Knowledge of DOL processes/procedures/environment
