Responsibilities:

• Ability to design, develop and integrate web technologies, collaboration tools, enterprise content management, and mobility services.
• Ability to design user interface and systems architecture for complex environments as well as analyzing, mapping and reengineering diverse business processes.
• Resolves highly complex issues, conducts advanced research and recommends innovations.
• Ensures completion of all projects. Develops prototypes and proof of concept models to support and solidify design decisions.
• Performs program technical design, coding, and testing functions within the application development process.
• Works on a variety of platforms using a combination of development tools and languages.
• Must be able to perform responsibilities with limited assistance, and remain cognizant of common standards as well as emerging trends and technologies;
• Work with clients and analysis team to develop and document business goals, objectives and requirements, design and develop web architecture, establish standards for web site content design and user interface, develop server-side program content and client-side scripting, monitor web usage and develop improvement plans, evaluate web-based development technologies, tools and applications.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Java/Websphere (3+ years of JAVA experience managing web based application design, software development, maintenance and delivery with at least 2 years with application servers, e.g. Oracle Application Server, Oracle/BEA Weblogic Portal, Java 1.6, J2EE, JSP, JSB Servlets, Microsoft SQL Server Database
• Strong experience with Web Architecture and Web design and development tools and languages. e.g. JSP, JDBC, JAVA Servlets, NetBeans, JAVABeans/EJBs, ASP, SQL, JAVAScript, SOAP, XML/XSLT/FOP, HTML.
