Sevatec, Inc. announced today that it has partnered with Creative Information Technology Inc. (CITI) to provide the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development PASS (Physical Assessment Subsystem) Program with business support services. The Management, Organizational, and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) Support team will provide business process improvement, and technical maintenance and guidance for complex organizational management issues.

Sevatec's role will be to define and interpret Congressionally-mandated Asset Management legislation, conduct process reviews and draft business and functional stakeholder requirements for system releases, as well as provide strategic planning. Sevatec will support CITI by delivering the related products, services, and technical assistance to further the goals of the PASS program.

PASS enables HUD to quantitatively measure the physical condition of properties in the HUD portfolio, and promotes decent affordable housing by ensuring improvements are made to the physical quality of housing, and monitoring management accountability of public and assisted housing. PASS also ensures that physical inspections are conducted on properties, so that standardized rules are followed to benefit low and moderate-income families, and assist those who reside in housing that fails to meet physical standards.
