Falls Church, Virginia, June 15, 2009: Sevatec, Inc. (Sevatec) announced today that Dr. Rod Fontecilla has joined the firm as its Chief Technology Officer with overall responsibility for the firm's internal IT infrastructure and IT services support and delivery to our federal clients.

Dr. Fontecilla joins Sevatec after 15 highly successful years at Booz Allen Hamilton where he led a team of more than 220 employees, and guided the startup and management of a full spectrum of IT operations, systems, and programs with annual revenues of exceeding $50M. He has designed large IT systems for several government agencies including FBI, FDIC, IRS, Treasury, DOI, GSA, OMB, DOD, and FDA.

Dr. Fontecilla has extensive experience in business development and services delivery for major federal programs, and is a recognized expert in Cloud Computing and frequent speaker in this developing field. Moreover, he planned and created a federal government executive summit on Cloud Computing attended by more than 75 senior-level federal agency clients and featuring representatives Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM, and academia participated with keynote speakers.

Dr. Fontecilla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universite de Grenoble, France, and Master's and Doctorate degrees in Applied Mathematics from Rice University.
