Firm to Provide Configuration Management and Quality Assurance Support Services
Falls Church, Virginia, January 6, 2009: Sevatec, Inc. recently won a contract to provide Configuration Management (CM) and Quality Assurance (QA) Support Services to the United States Department of Labor (DOL), Employment & Training Administration (ETA), Office of Performance and Technology (PROTECH).
ETA contributes to the efficient functioning of the U.S. labor market by providing high quality job training, employment, labor market information, and income maintenance services primarily through state and local workforce development systems. PROTECH is a 21st Century information technology infrastructure supporting the agency's business through developing information technology strategy and providing technical infrastructure, programming, information technology research, and development support.
PROTECH required a consulting staff with specialized experience and knowledge to demonstrate the efficiencies of a Center of Excellence (COE) around automated testing. Sevatec was selected because of the firm's demonstrated CM, QA, training, and program management capabilities, and its alignment with PROTECH's mission and objectives in support of the agency's technology investments.
