Falls Church, Virginia, January 5, 2009: Sevatec, Inc. was recently awarded an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) prime contract to provide systems engineering and analysis and advanced technology support services in response to task orders issued under the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Multiple Award Contract.

Sevatec President and CEO Sonny Kakar hailed the contract award, stating, "SeaPort-e allows Sevatec a more far-reaching opportunity to market our information technology and human capital solutions and support services to defense and federal civilian agencies."

To enhance and expand its service offerings and geographical reach, Sevatec teamed with NCI Information Systems, Inc., Alion Science and Technology Corporation, DTSV, Inc., Bastion Technologies, Inc., V2Soft, Inc., and Anadarko Industries LLC. Sevatec and its teaming partners will provide System Design Documentation and Technical Data Support; Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Network Support; Configuration Management Support; Quality Assurance Support; Information System Development, Information Assurance, and Information Technology Support; Training Support; and Program Management Support.

SeaPort-e was established by the U.S. Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Warfare Centers to provide a faster, better, and more cost-effective means of contracting for professional support services. The ordering community of SeaPort-e also includes the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC), Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and the United States Marine Corps.
