Sevatec's approach to implementation of an Electronic Document and Records Management (EDRM) is based on a sound systems engineering methodology. Our process begins with collecting or developing fundamentals, i.e., records management policies, procedures and file plans. Then we proceed with requirements development, design, implementation, integration, testing and fielding. Our approach encourages stakeholders' participation in every step of the process. Sevatec understands that fundamentals are essential inputs to the requirements, and ensures requirements will be traced to the source and remain under configuration management.
