Employees Participate in 5K to Support Wounded Warriors
Sevatec employees participated in the Navy Marine Coast Guard Residence Foundation’s McLean 5K Run to support the Wounded Warrior Transitional Housing at Vinson Hall.
Since 2003, thousands of young men and women have been wounded in the line of duty. After discharge from inpatient treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, they continue on active duty while going through a very thorough evaluation period. At this point in their recovery, many wounded warriors seek housing which is suited to their rehabilitation needs. The NMCGRF is investing in our wounded warriors by providing handicapped accessible apartments that are designed to support them through their transitional period in a wonderful facilitation, located in McLean, Virginia. Thank you to our team of employees that participated in the event!
