Firm provides IT services and IT-based solutions to support federal government customers
Falls Church, Virginia, August 8, 2011: Sevatec, Inc. (Sevatec) announced today that the firm has been awarded the United States General Services Administration (GSA) 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) II Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), a multiple-award (MA), Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle with a program ceiling of $10 billion for a five (5) year base period with a five (5) year option period. As a GSA 8(a) STARS II contract holder, Sevatec is able to bid on $10 billion worth of task orders throughout the life of the contract.
The GSA 8(a) STARS II Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) builds upon the achievements of its predecessor, 8(a) STARS. The program was designed to provide federal government customers with IT services and IT services-based solutions from 8(a) certified firms on a global basis. Evaluation criteria for award was based on competitive pricing, technical proficiency, and compliance with industry credentials.
Sevatec will provide a full range of IT services and IT-based solutions in four functional areas: Custom Computer Programming Services (NAICS 541511), Computer Systems Design Services (NAICS 541512), Computer Facilities Management Services (NAICS 541513), and Other Computer Related Services (NAICS 541519). In addition, Sevatec will provide customers with a range of ancillary support that also maintains a focus on IT services-based outcomes.

Sevatec holds several choice contracts including Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) in both prime and subcontractor positions with the United States General Services Administration (GSA), the United States Department of Navy, the United States Department of Transportation (DOT), and the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
