Firm to Provide Content Management System, Technical and Customer Support Services
Falls Church, Virginia, March 29, 2012: Sevatec, Inc., a leading provider of management and technology consulting services for the federal government, announced today it has been awarded a multi-million contract for a Base Period and Four Option Year Periods, with the U.S. Department of State (DoS) to provide Content Management Services (CMS) to the Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP). The IIP Office of Content Support Services (CSS) has supported Embassy websites since 1994. In 2003, IIP/CSS expanded the services provided to the field and improved usability of content creation tools for Embassy staff through the deployment of the CMS Project.
Under the terms of the contract, Sevatec will support a wide range of technical and operational services necessary to support information outreach to U.S. Embassies in more than 140 countries as well as the dissemination of critical information U.S. citizens need during emergencies. These support services include program management, software application development, operations and maintenance, metrics and reporting, customer service, help desk services and training support for 400+ public websites, 600 production sites, and over 1200 end-users.
