Firm to provide specialized data management and application development support across DOL
Fairfax, Virginia, September 14, 2016: Sevatec announced today that it was awarded a prime contract to provide data management services for the Department of Labor (DOL) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). DOL agencies collect a significant quantity of data, as they promote and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environment regulations. Under the contract, Sevatec will support the VETS Data Exchange, and Employment & Training Administration Unemployment Insurance (ETA-UI) projects across a variety of tasks including data architecture, data analytics, data modeling, data warehousing, data visualization, and data-driven application development.
“Data collection, dissemination, and analysis is a critical component of DOL’s mission as they interface with the American public, federal, and state agencies, and public and private sector organizations,” said Anantha Bangalore, Sevatec’s Chief Technology Officer. “With extensive data analytics and business intelligence expertise, Sevatec looks forward to transforming the Department’s IT infrastructure into a single, unified, and centrally managed infrastructure with the agility to support DOL-specific business processes.”
